- STELLAR is a conversion tool that can convert relational data to CRMEH, CRM, CLAROS and similar.

STAR is a system that integrates data from 4-5 archeological field data capture systems, and allows integrated search:

h2. STAR.Timeline
A very interesting treatment of archeological time periods
- A demo UI is here. You search by date-range, it returns only "correlated periods" (by some measure)
-- I especially like the simplicity yet functionality of this UI
-- And it has a simple and nice REST returning JSON:
-- E.g. enter 1701-1800: it returns "18TH CENTURY AD", and 9 others.
-- one of them is "NAPOLEONIC WARS": that definitely is not a mere Time-Span, it’s a Period because it has a Place and cultural-historic dimension

But it still has some cultural baggage, e.g.: Gregorian calendar, Christian year-count, Earth locality

h1. Andronikos
Andronikos is a digital humanities web-portal closely associated with the STAR project that makes available CIDOC CRM and CRM-EH based semantic indices of the OASIS corpus that have been provided by the Archaeology Data Service. The portal provides a browsing and searching facility of semantic annoations, other pages make available Terminology (English Heritage Thesauri - Glossaries), XML -RDF conversion tools, corpus resources, evaluation results and relevant publications.

OASIS Corpus: OASIS is an umbrella project of the University of York that brings together a number of strategic partners of the Archaeology field such. The processed coprus of semantic annotations consists of 2460 documents including archaeology evaluation reports, excavation reports, watching briefs etc.
