You can also invoke the populater as a standard Linux service by deploying the script
in the standard start-up scripts location (usually /etc/init.d/). It has the following synopsis:
The script is usually executed from <KIM_HOME>/bin/tools/ and it determines <KIM_HOME>. Therefore, if you decide to use it as a Linux Service and deploy it in a different location, you need to explicitly set up the variable <KIM_HOME> in the script.
